What is LED Light Therapy?

LED (Light Emitting Diode) therapy is a non-invasive skincare treatment that uses therapeutic light wavelengths to target various skin concerns.

It stimulates collagen production, reduces inflammation, and promotes healing—all without damaging the skin. Originally developed by NASA for wound healing, it’s now widely used in aesthetics for skin rejuvenation and acne treatment.

How does LED Light Therapy work and what do the colours do?

How does LED Light Therapy work?

Each LED wavelength penetrates the skin at different depths, triggering specific biological responses:

  • Stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin

  • Destroys acne-causing bacteria

  • Reduces inflammation and redness

  • Enhances circulation and accelerates cellular repair

Unlike UV light, LED light is safe, does not cause burns, and is suitable for all skin types.
